Jack is a Director of Lit Consulting. Jack has been working in the fire safety engineering industry for over 11 years – 7 years in NSW and 4 years in ACT. He is a Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) and registered on the National Engineering Register in fire safety).

Jack has worked on a wide range of new and existing buildings including residential, office buildings, shopping centres, educational facilities and health care buildings in both NSW and ACT. These projects range from small office fit-outs with project values of less than $30,000 to large projects of over $500M. He has also worked on road and rail infrastructure projects with project values of up to $3.7B involving extensive stakeholder consultation.

Jack has substantial experience working with design teams, certifying authorities and the fire brigade to resolve fire engineering project issues that arise during design and construction. He is well versed in the legislation and regulations governing fire safety engineering in NSW and ACT.

Jack has expertise in utilising computational tools to assist in fire engineering assessments. In particular, undertaking computational fluid dynamics (CFD), fire and smoke modelling and 3D occupant evacuation simulation.

Jack is a Member of the Society of Fire Safety, a technical society under Engineers Australia for fire safety professionals. He was on the NSW chapter committee between 2013 to 2017 and served as Vice Chair between 2015 to 2017.
