The Republic Precinct is a large mixed-use precinct located along Lake Ginninderra in the heart of Belconnen, ACT. The project is Australia’s largest residential precinct under construction.
The development consists of three stages consisting of five towers with a mix of retail spaces, residential apartments and hotel rooms located above multi-storey basement carpark spaces. The completed building will be the tallest residential building in Canberra at over 113m.
Lit Consulting are engaged to provide Fire Safety Engineering and BCA Consulting services for all 3 stages of the project. Through extensive consultation with the design and construction teams as well as the regulatory authorities, Lit Consulting has developed the fire safety strategy for the entire precinct.
